Ivaylo Savov was born on February 20, 1961 in Ruse. In 1980, he graduated from the specialty "Ceramics" at the Art School in Troyan, and in 1994 - from the specialty "Sculpture" at the National Art Academy, Sofia, in the class of Prof. Dimitar Boykov.
Since 2004, the artist has been working with the auction house "Hotel de Vant", Geneva, Switzerland. Ivaylo Savov is the author of the annual "Graviton" fiction award, which, since 1994, for 10 years, the writer Lyuben Dilov-father has awarded to Bulgarian fiction writers, publishers and illustrators for "good imagination and goodness of imagination". The artist also made the sculpture for the "Rooster" prize, with which, since 1995, the Foreign Investment Agency of the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria has distinguished the investor of the year in the country.
